Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Regional Compliance Specialist to audit and train Above and Below Wing teams across airports within a specified region. You will ensure training records and regulatory qualifications are current and aligned with Breeze standards.

You will collaborate with Airports Policy teams, prepare leadership reports, and support new station launches with regulatory training and audits, while upholding Breeze’s Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence values.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Airports and/or Airport Training.
  • Experience training Above and Below Wing staff.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US SIDA badge per TSA requirements.
  • US work authorization as defined by law.

Responsibilities

  • Audit region airports for training and compliance with Guest Service Procedures.
  • Assist in training new and existing processes for Airports and Guest Services.
  • Maintain currency of crew training records and regulatory qualifications.
  • Prepare regular reports to Administrator and leadership on audits and training statuses.
  • Coordinate with Airports Policies and Procedures team on training content updates and QTMS.
  • Act as liaison between regulatory Training Departments and contract training facilities.

This position will also participate in conducting airport training to Breeze and Business Partner team members. The specialist will be a vital asset in preparing our Business Partners at new station launches and bringing them up to the Breeze standard. Additionally, the regional compliance specialist will make regular station visits to complete audits in part with the Breeze audit program.Here’s what you’ll doManage a region of airports in respect to airport training & compliance to Guest Service ProceduresAssists in the training of new and existing processes for Airports and Guest ServicesAdhere to the processes and controls that ensure the currency of crew membersEnsuring all training record regulatory requirements and qualification management procedures are strictly enforcedRegularly reports to the Administrator and company leadership as required by regulations and company proceduresRegularly communicates with internal learning stakeholders and business partners to ensure that Team Member training events are efficiently scheduledActively communicate with Airports Policies and Procedures team about their training content updatesLiaison between all regulatory Training Departments, other departments, and contract training facilitiesEnd User for the management of the Qualification Training Management System (QTMS)Ensure all training records, regulatory requirements, and qualification/authorization management procedures are strictly followedAssist the Airport Training Manager with all internal and external (FAA, DOD, IOSA, etc.) training records and qualification and authorization auditsCommunicate with the Airport Training Manager regarding the qualification and authorization status of Airport Team Members and Business PartnersOther duties as assigned by the Training ManagerAchieve performance and Below WingMust be flexible and willing to work outside business hours if neededMust be willing to work with other departments within the company as neededMust be able to communicate effectively both written and verballyHigh-performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibilityMust be able to successfully complete airport carry, push, and pull baggage, cargo, and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds, and demonstrate safe lifting practices.Ability to safely operate and instruct employees in the use of ground support equipment (GSE), baggage handling systems, aircraft servicing equipment, and other ramp tools.Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle baggage, training materials, equipment, and electronic devices used for documentation and instruction.Ability to work in high-noise environments around operating aircraft while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to safely ascend and descend aircraft stairs, belt loaders, and other ground support equipment while conducting hands-on training.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerFrequent use of hands and
