Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a Sr Regional Recruiter to drive undergraduate recruitment efforts across the region. The role involves representing the university at high school visits, college fairs, and virtual events, while coordinating activities to meet enrollment goals and build strong relationships with students, families, and counselors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 1 year of recruitment or admissions experience.
• Willing to travel frequently within assigned region.
• Ability to build relationships with students, families and counselors.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Ability to obtain and manage a VCU travel card.

Responsibilities

• Represent VCU at recruitment events and virtual activities for prospective students.
• Plan and organize recruitment activities to meet enrollment goals.
• Coordinate local events for accepted students in the Spring.
• Participate in on-campus recruitment events.
• Counsel prospective students and families on admissions and financial aid.
• Communicate with applicants and manage follow-up.
• Engage with alumni and regional offices to support recruitment.
