Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment to lead and support all aspects of the full recruitment and yield cycle for first‑year and transfer students. This role reports to the Director of Recruitment & Enrollment Management and works with faculty, staff, and students to attract a diverse class.

This role involves external outreach, event coordination, and collaboration with university partners, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Experience with high school/college students in admissions or recruitment.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work outside traditional hours and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support all stages of the recruitment cycle: prospect, applicant, admit, enrolled.
• Coordinate and execute on-campus recruitment events.
• Travel to recruitment events, including overnight stays.
• Collaborate with faculty, admissions, and marketing teams.
• Manage communications and data in Slate CRM.
