Job summary

UW-La Crosse seeks a Regional Admission Counselor to lead recruitment in the Greater Milwaukee area. You will meet with students, families and schools to promote UW-La Crosse, traveling up to 50% of the time and working from a home office.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work evenings/weekends, and a bachelor’s degree with experience supporting diverse student populations. Apply through internal process where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required by hire date.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds including low income or first generation.
• Excellent written communication and public speaking skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement a personalized recruitment program with high school visits, calls and campus visits.
• Represent UW-La Crosse during high school visits, college fairs and events; travel required.
• Meet with prospective students and families in various settings and explain admissions policies.
• Be familiar with UW-La Crosse programs and admissions processes, including aid and placement tests.
• Plan and support campus visitation programs and recruitment events.
• Engage and maintain relationships with partners to drive applications.
