Kimley-Horn, a national consulting, engineering, and planning firm, seeks a Regional Accounting Manager for our Dallas, TX office. In-office role focused on leading the Accounting & Finance regional team with oversight of project cost accounting, revenue recognition, invoicing, and staff development.

The role partners with engineers and leadership to ensure accurate financials, monthly reporting, and process improvements. Travel to Dallas offices is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field - accounting or finance preferred.
• 10+ years’ accounting experience including project or job cost accounting.
• Supervisory experience leading and developing an accounting team.
• Experience with accounting software/MIS systems and QA.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel regularly to Dallas metroplex offices.
• Proven ability to partner with senior management and staff at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Oversee project cost accounting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
• Provide invoicing, collections, and expense management, with monthly region reporting.
• Supervise and mentor staff of project accountants and accounting assistants.
• Partner with Regional Business Manager and project managers to achieve financial goals.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support regional performance.
