Kimley-Horn, a Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking a Staff Accountant for our Dallas, TX office. The role supports corporate finance and accounting across offices nationwide in an in‑office environment.

The ideal candidate will own monthly reconciliations, perform GL reviews, and drive timely closes while ensuring GAAP compliance. CPA is preferred and Excel proficiency is essential for success.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of audit, corporate GL/staff accounting, or equivalent experience.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and own monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Perform GL reviews to ensure proper coding and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support ad hoc projects, including expense platform and ERP initiatives.
• Identify process improvements and reduce manual steps.
• Collaborate across teams to report financial results accurately.
• Prepare and review internal financial reports.
• Review work for accuracy and provide guidance to teammates.
