Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple job sites within the assigned region, ensuring quality cleaning standards and KPI attainment. This role requires supervising staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring safety policies across facilities.

You will direct daily operations, drive budget compliance, and manage project teams while maintaining strong communication with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Progressive experience in a maintenance field with a supervisory role.
• Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with current health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure KPI targets are met.
• Lead strategic account development and budget compliance.
• Manage site management teams and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Hire, train, and supervise new employees; handle employee issues.
• Perform routine facility inspections and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports on site conditions to customers.
• Record employee hours and supervise time-keeping; perform duties as needed.
