Job summary
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics, part of Abbott, is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Northwestern & Midwestern US. This remote field-based role requires office-to-airport access and up to 50% travel, including overnights, to manage government, criminal justice, and treatment markets.
You will actively pursue new sales opportunities, conduct needs assessments, coordinate contracts, and support onboarding for new accounts while staying ahead of market trends and competitors.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record in Sales with hunter mindset and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated experience managing and negotiating customer contracts in senior sales or account management roles.
- Experience in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Salesforce.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication, verbal, and written skills.
- Must be willing to travel in multi-state territory with some overnight travel included.

The Regional Account Manager will be part of the Toxicology Business Unit, servicing agencies in the government, criminal justice, and treatment market.
This role is a US remote field-based position covering our Northwestern & Midwestern US region. Candidates must be based in a metropolitan city with access to an airport. Up to 50% of travel will include overnights.

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
