Regional Account Manager - Smart Infrastructure / Data Centers

Position Overview

We seek qualified candidates to electrify and automate future data centers, blending physical and digital worlds across a broad ecosystem of technologies, solutions, and services. Our goal is to power and connect data centers to a modern grid, creating efficient and responsible environments.

This role involves developing and managing customer accounts within the Data Center market, representing Siemens in sales and strategic activities, and acting as a key interface between customers and internal teams. The position requires creating account business plans, increasing market share, developing new opportunities, and collaborating across departments to identify growth strategies. The global account manager will work with clients across multiple geographies and markets, reporting to the data center center of competence, facilitating interaction across Siemens' various divisions.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients, establishing Siemens as a thought leader.
  • Understand client needs and manage business planning, including strategic and implementation plans.
  • Identify opportunities to grow share of wallet across Siemens’ business lines locally and globally.
  • Engage clients in co-value creation to deepen relationships.
  • Define and measure success using KPIs and OKRs.
  • Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams for pre-sale, sale, and post-sale activities.
  • Utilize effective tools and processes for pipeline management, program implementation, and relationship development.
  • Maintain detailed account organization, including decision makers and key resources.
  • Analyze client data to inform Siemens’ strategic actions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally
  • 10+ years in sales, management, or key account management, with 5+ years in sales leadership
  • 5+ years experience in the Data Center industry
  • 5+ years experience with power/electrical systems or building automation
  • 3+ years in account/business planning roles
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing network and influence in data center infrastructure
  • Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build and scale customer accounts
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and results-driven skills
  • Industry influence and deep understanding of data center clients

Siemens offers comprehensive health benefits, with a pay range of $118,800 - $203,700, plus sales incentives. Exact compensation depends on experience and location.
