Regional Account Manager - Smart Infrastructure / Data Centers

Position Overview

Siemens offers the infrastructure and scale to support the current industry boom, enabling real, long-term impact in the data center space. We are building the infrastructure backbone of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, seeking qualified candidates to electrify and automate future data centers. Our mission is to blend physical and digital worlds through a broad, scalable suite of electrical systems that power data centers and create efficient, safe, adaptable, and responsible environments.

This role involves developing and managing customer relationships within the Data Center market, representing Siemens in sales and strategic activities, and collaborating across departments to identify growth opportunities. The position reports to the data centers center of competence and involves interaction across multiple businesses and countries.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop trusting relationships with clients and Siemens, establishing thought leadership.
  • Understand client needs and develop strategic account plans to enhance results.
  • Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet across Siemens' business lines.
  • Engage clients in co-value creation to deepen relationships.
  • Define and track success metrics (KPI, OKR, etc.).
  • Coordinate communication and resources internally for sales activities.
  • Manage account organization, decision-makers, and key resources.
  • Analyze client data to inform Siemens' actions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally.
  • 10+ years in sales, management, or key account management, with 5+ years in sales leadership.
  • 5+ years in the Data Center industry.
  • 5+ years in power/electrical systems or building automation.
  • 3+ years in account or business planning roles.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Established network and influence in data center infrastructure.
  • Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to scale customer accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client solution skills.
  • Deep industry understanding and influence.
