Regional Account Manager - Smart Infrastructure / Data Centers

Position Overview

Siemens offers the infrastructure and scale to support the current ‘boom’ in the industry, enabling real, long-term impact in the data center space. We are building the infrastructure backbone of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, seeking qualified candidates to electrify and automate data centers of the future. Our mission is to blend physical and digital worlds through a broad suite of electrical systems that power and connect data centers to a modern grid. Our Smart Buildings create efficient, safe, adaptable, and responsible environments.

This role involves developing and managing customer relationships within the Data Center market, representing Siemens in sales and strategic activities, and working across multiple departments to identify growth opportunities and implement account strategies. The position reports to the data centers center of competence and involves interaction across various Siemens businesses and countries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop trusting relationships with clients, establishing Siemens as a thought leader.
  • Understand client needs and develop strategic and implementation plans to enhance client results.
  • Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet across Siemens’ business lines.
  • Engage clients in co-value creation to deepen relationships.
  • Define and track success metrics (KPIs, OKRs).
  • Coordinate internal resources for sales activities and project execution.
  • Maintain detailed account organization and decision-maker contacts.
  • Analyze client data to inform Siemens’ strategies.
Qualifications
Basic:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally.
  • 10+ years in sales, management, or key account management, with 5+ years in sales management preferred.
  • 5+ years in the Data Center industry.
  • 5+ years in power/electrical systems or building automation.
  • 3+ years in account/business planning.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Preferred:
  • Existing network and influence in data center infrastructure.
  • Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build and scale customer accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client solutions skills.
  • Deep industry understanding and organizational navigation skills.
Additional Information

Salary range: $118,800 - $203,700, with potential for incentives. Siemens offers comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This position is remote within the continental US.
