Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Field-Based Sales professional to drive neurology and Fabry disease product growth in the Northeast. This role requires 5+ years of pharmaceutical/healthcare sales and a proven record of exceeding targets in specialized therapies.

Responsibilities include strategic account planning, building physician partnerships, and managing access and reimbursement challenges. Expect travel up to 75% with a strong emphasis on compliant, patient-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in life sciences, business, or healthcare.
• Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sales experience.
• Minimum of 3 years rare disease, orphan drug or highly specialized sales experience.
• Experience selling in specialized clinics, hospitals, and academic centers.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel daily within assigned territory, including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and a personal automobile with active vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment with Patient Services, Patient Engagement, Marketing, Managed Markets and Medical Affairs.
• Develop business partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff.
• Identify key treatment centers and facilities and employ a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
• Address and resolve product access and reimbursement issues.
• Performs additional tasks and assignments as needed by management.
