Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional focused on neurology and Fabry disease products.

You will drive growth by meeting sales targets, building strong relationships with physicians and healthcare staff, and navigating complex access and reimbursement landscapes. The role requires extensive travel (up to 75%), a Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years in pharma/healthcare sales, including rare disease experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in life sciences, business, or healthcare.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sales experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of rare disease or orphan drug sales experience; proven targets growth.
• Experience selling in specialized clinics, hospitals, and academic centers; full account selling.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic business plans.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management; multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment with Patient Services, Marketing, Managed Markets, and Medical Affairs.
• Develop partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff; discuss how products meet needs.
• Identify key treatment centers and facilities; employ consultative sales approaches.
• Address and resolve product access and reimbursement issues.
• Perform additional tasks as needed by management.
