Sonoco Products Company in the Southeast region (Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama) is seeking an Account Representative to lead direct sales for folding carton and related markets. You will build account strategies, expand relationships, and translate customer needs into high-value packaging solutions, with frequent travel around 3 nights per week.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required.
• 3+ years in folding carton manufacturing or corrugated packaging.
• Proven success in sales prospecting and new business development.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple projects.
• Familiarity with folding carton design and paperboard substrates.
• Strong CRM, reporting and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct sales in the assigned Southeast territory.
• Build and execute account strategies.
• Expand multi-level relationships with customers.
• Identify opportunities aligned with folding carton capabilities.
• Maintain territory travel and CRM discipline.
• Forecasting and funnel analysis using CRM.
• Provide insights to Marketing for planning.
