Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking an accomplished sales professional to manage a Northeast US customer portfolio and drive profitable growth. You will expand business with new and existing customers, coordinate export shipments, and support international promotions from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and nearby New Jersey.

The role requires 3–5 years in commercial sales, strong stakeholder management, and a commitment to high quality service and results. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Paints and coatings industry or B2B experience valued.
• 3–5 years in commercial roles, sales and key account management or sales to strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers in the designated area and execute the sales plan.
• Screen customers for new opportunities, generate leads, and maintain the pipeline.
• Provide appropriate contact, service and support to meet sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance and adjust actions as needed.
• Coordinate international promotions and shipments, including export activities.
