Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Regional Account Manager to engage with healthcare providers and build strong relationships with key decision-makers. This role involves developing and executing strategic business plans while calling on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, urologists, and gynecologists. Call points include physician offices, hospital pharmacies, and operating rooms to drive product awareness and sales growth.
Specific Job Duties
- Deliver Bludigo forecast by achieving and exceeding assigned sales objectives.
- Develop account plans that reflect an in-depth knowledge and understanding of each identified key account including strategic goals, value drivers, key access stakeholders, relevant business metrics, and unique challenges/emerging needs. Profile each account within CRM.
- Be knowledgeable in targeted accounts' organizational structures and ways of working. Understand the account motivators and pain points.
- Develop and maintain an expert level of product, competitor, and ecosystem knowledge, share insights, and have the curiosity to continually enhance that understanding.
- Maximize use of approved resources to achieve territory and account-level objectives.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners utilizing coordinated strategies that accelerate Provepharm product utilization and target new institutional opportunities.
- Analyze account-level data to identify sales opportunities and targets to drive additional utilization of Provepharm products.
- Attend local, regional, and national meetings as directed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales, with 2 or more years calling on GYN or Urology highly preferred.
- Proven track record of success in executing IDN strategies, building hospital business, and expanding across IDNs.
- Strong understanding of hospital systems and healthcare industry trends.
- Proven success engaging key stakeholders in complex cross-functional teams and clinical environments (mid to senior-level healthcare professionals, key accounts, and the medical community).
