Amerita is a leading provider of Specialty Infusion services focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital. The primary responsibility of the Regional Account Manager (inside sales) position will be to develop and manage a designated territory. The goal is to provide education and care coordination to prescribers for all Amerita products and services. This role acts as a single point of contact by assisting prescribers in evaluating referrals and performing care coordination to ensure service level requirements are met. This responsibility is mostly carried out in coordination with outside sales representatives. The targeted customers include Physicians, NPs, PAs, nursing staff, office managers, administrative, and pharmacy staff within prescriber office settings.
Territory and Work Location
The open territory is NorthEast, and the Regional Account Manager will work remotely from home.

Responsibilities
- Seek out opportunities for prescriber experience process improvement and collaborate with Pharmacy Operations and outside sales to achieve prescriber experience and sales goals.
- Achieve designated call expectations for assigned prescribers, focusing on top targets, key influencers, and pipeline leads.
- Identify, rank, prospect, and develop key specialty practices and business relationships in neurology, immunology, and GI accounts within the regional territory.
- Assist with sales escalations and communicate routinely with field sales representatives about details impacting prescriber or patient experience.
- Support education and delivery of key messages and product presentations within initiatives (e.g., drug launches, Medicare changes) to meet territory performance requirements.
- Forward calls related to clinical information and questions to Staff Pharmacists.
- Document and update each patient’s profile and/or CRM regarding customer/physician care or needs.
- Handle customer complaints with discretion and forward to appropriate staff.
- Manage prescriber communication preferences.
- Nurture and manage prescriber relationships to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Utilize RAMConnect Tool to process prescriptions efficiently.
- Assist with prior authorizations by following up and coordinating with operations and prescribers.
- Ensure timely communication of prescription renewals to maintain continuity of care.
- Collaborate with sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, technical school, or pharmacy/healthcare certificate program.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years healthcare or customer service experience preferred, with familiarity in specialty providers, clinics, and hospitals.
- Team player willing to promote organizational goals and work independently.
- Effective communication and organizational skills, with ability to respond to inquiries or complaints.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medications, drug reimbursement, Managed Care, PBM benefits preferred.
- Strong probing and consultative communication skills.
- Proficient in data entry, verbal, computer skills, and CRM software.
