Job summary

Fortrex is seeking an Account Management Division Manager to lead a traveling team across a defined territory of food processing plants. You will oversee budgeting for chemicals, equipment, freight, and labor while maintaining strong communication with management about variances and opportunities.

You will nurture existing customer relationships and create new business opportunities, managing a team of Account Managers to hit goals and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Associate's degree or 7-10 years in sanitation/food processing industry.
• Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months experience at this level preferred).
• Display strong managerial skills including decision-making and conflict resolution.
• Maintain integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus.
• Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs.
• Possess a valid and active driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with key plants in the geographical area to ensure day to day processes are being performed effectively and efficiently.
• Manage the approval process for expenses of territory personnel.
• Supervise a team of Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to achieve stated goals and serve our customers with excellence.
• Consistently seek ways to reduce cost and increase efficiency for the company and our customers.
• Constantly finding new business expansion in the geographical area assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
