Job summary

Fortrex, through Safe Foods, seeks an Account Management Division Manager to lead a field team across a defined territory. This traveling role focuses on building customer relationships and optimizing ordering, delivery, and application of products.

You will manage budgets for chemicals, equipment, freight, fuel, and labor while maintaining open communication with management about variances and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 7-10 years in sanitation/food processing industry or equivalent.
• Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months at this level preferred).
• Strong managerial, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.
• Integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with key plants in the geographic area to ensure processes run smoothly.
• Approve expenses for territory personnel.
• Supervise Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to hit goals.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve efficiency for the company and customers.
• Drive new business expansion within the assigned territory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
