Job summary

Cogent Communications is seeking a sales professional for an in-office, full-time role in the United States. You will identify and pursue new business within a Regional Sales Territory, prospecting via high-volume calls and emails, and coordinating with management to target major commercial buildings and campuses.

You will educate customers on Cogent connectivity solutions through consultative selling, maintain CRM records, and strive to achieve monthly revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory via direct calling and emailing.
• Coordinate with Sales Management to target large commercial and retail buildings and campuses.
• Engage in field activities such as building walks, lobby events, and meetings with property managers.
• Educate customers on Cogent connectivity solutions using consultative and relationship-building selling techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of prospecting efforts in CRM.
• Meet monthly revenue targets.
