SurfacePrep is seeking a Coated and Bonded Abrasive Specialist in Texas to drive growth across our coated abrasives portfolio, serving as a technical resource for customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Travel regionally to support Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, combines commercial acumen with hands-on technical knowledge, and can translate product insight into measurable business results. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 5+ years in sales or technical support.
• Strong technical aptitude for abrasive applications and processes.
• Experience translating technical findings into commercial opportunities.
• Proficient with data analytics and BI tools.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with sales, suppliers, and operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by meeting sales, margin, and market share targets.
• Provide commercial and technical product expertise to customers and partners.
• Evaluate customer processes and recommend optimized abrasive solutions.
• Lead product trials, test activities, and interpret results.
• Develop opportunities and expand strategic accounts through technical counsel.
• Use CRM and analytics to track trends and plan growth strategies.
• Train field and inside sales on products and applications.
• Support training and rollout of new product launches.
• Communicate updates and insights to stakeholders.
