This professional contributor position leads the local 4-H program and Youth Development Programming under supervision, coordinating day-to-day activities and delivering

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or bachelor’s degree plus 2.5 years of experience.
  • 6 months of experience in educational program development and management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license or dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead Community 4-H Clubs, ensuring best practices and volunteer placement.
  • Manage youth and volunteer enrollment through 4honline.
  • Supervise volunteers delivering 4-H programming.
  • Advise and support 4-H Affiliates.
  • Connect with State and Regional 4-H Staff to promote educational programs.
  • Develop 4-H and Youth Development regional experiences using Purdue Extension's statewide curriculum.
  • Coordinate the 4-H Culminating Event, recorded in Fair Entry.
  • May hire and supervise county support staff.
