Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee travel center locations, drive profitable sales, and provide coaching to store managers. The role emphasizes leadership, financial accountability, and strategic regional oversight.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of multi-unit or regional management in retail or service industries, with strong customer service and team-building skills. Willingness to relocate within designated regions is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-unit or regional management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or service industry with responsibility for financial results.
• Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with Profit and Loss accountability.
• Customer service excellence and a culture of customer focus.
• Strong people management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate integrity and accountability at a management level.
• Proven team leadership and development capabilities.
• Experience building and coaching teams from staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training standpoint.
• Relocation willingness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all travel center locations in the region to drive profitable sales.

• Recruit, train, and coach Managers within the region.

Our Regional Managers oversee all travel center locations in their region and are responsible for driving profitable sales in the stores. Along with operational support, Region Managers must also recruit, train, and maintain their team by providing ongoing coaching and development to the Managers within their region. We are currently looking for candidates located within and/or willing to relocate within the Northeast, Midwest, and Mountain West areas.

Qualifications

• 5 years of multi-unit or regional management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
• Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with Profit and Loss accountability
• Incredible customer service skills & the ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
• Great people management skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
• Must exemplify integrity and accountability at the management level
• Demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
• Must build, coach, manage, and develop teams from a staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training standpoint
• Strong preference for candidates willing to relocate as needed
