Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ, seeks a Cardiac Echo Technologist to obtain 2D/3D echocardiograms with color and spectral Doppler at the bedside and in the Echo Lab.

Experience in Stress Echocardiography, TEE, and working with Cardiologists is required. RDCS or RCIS credentials are preferred, and ARDMS or CCI certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. This PRN role requires flexibility and timely on-call availability.

Short Description

To obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and Spectral Doppler at the patient’s bedside and in Echo Lab. Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress echocardiograms as requested. Assist Cardiologist with TEE and Intracardiac Echo in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Rotate hospital on call schedule, arriving within 45 minutes of call.

Experience Required

Preferably 3-5 years experience in echo including 2D Doppler, Color Doppler and TEE.

RDCS or RCIS Filing, data entry into the computer, answering phones and giving reports to physicians.

Education Requirements

Some higher education other than High School Preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography as a required by each entity within 6 months of employement
