Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a REG Cardiac Sonographer for a Full Time Day shift. The role performs outpatient echocardiograms, including 2D/3D with color Doppler, and stress studies with cardiology support.

Outpatient focus; no hospital-call duties. ARDMS/CCI certifications required within 6 months of employment, and RDCS/RCIS credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Prefer 3–5 years experience in echo including 2D Doppler, Color Doppler and TEE.
• RDCS or RCIS registration and ability to file documentation.
• Some higher education beyond high school preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and spectral Doppler at outpatient sites and lab.
• Performs stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress tests as requested.
• Assists cardiologists with TEE and intracardiac echo in the cath lab.
• Not required to cover hospital shifts or be on call.

Short Description

The Cardiac Sonographer performs echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms exclusively in the outpatient facilities. This role does not require hospital coverage or on- call responsibilities.

To obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and spectral doppler at the patient's bedside and in echo lab. Perform stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms as requested and assist cardiologists with TEE and intracardiac echo in the cardiac Cath lab.

Experience Required

Preferably 3-5 years experience in echo including 2D Doppler, Color Doppler and TEE.

RDCS or RCIS Filing, data entry into the computer, answering phones and giving reports to physicians.

Education Requirements

Some higher education other than High School Preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography as a required by each entity within 6 months of employement
