Overtime and emergency snow/ice duties may be required. Qualified applicants typically have at least two years of general maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Two years of general maintenance experience in the field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A within 150 days or later as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate refuse collection vehicles citywide to collect refuse and recycling.
• Operate and maintain equipment like loaders, skid steers, and saws.
• Perform routine truck maintenance and fluid checks.
• Complete route and maintenance reports.
• Respond to public inquiries and enforce safety.
• Work overtime and be available for snow/ice operations.
