Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, de-escalation skills, CPR/First Aid certification, and a willingness to work with vulnerable youth. Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred; must be 21+ with a valid license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR/First Aid certified.
• Direct care experience in mental health or working with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and meet vaccine requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a family-like environment that models positive behaviors and expectations.
• Assist youth with daily routines—meal prep, medication administration, skill-building, and activities.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and monitor overnight activity.
• Be a trusted mentor and advocate for youth navigating trauma, displacement, and cultural adjustment.
