Job summary

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification and de-escalation skills are taught, bilingual Spanish is highly preferred, and candidates must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR/First Aid certified.
• Direct care experience in mental health or working with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Create a family-like environment that models positive behaviors and expectations.
• Assist youth with daily routines, meals, medication administration, and activities.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and monitor overnight activity.
• Serve as a trusted mentor and advocate for youth navigating trauma and displacement.
