Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is hiring a Program Officer to oversee refugee services activities nationwide from our Arlington, VA office. The role focuses on monitoring, reporting, and technical assistance across affiliates and field offices.

The position requires a Master’s degree with 2+ years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years, plus strong writing, data analysis, and communication skills. Domestic travel and collaboration with funders are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in resettlement, humanitarian services, nonprofit program management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience with grant management, program monitoring, data review, reporting, training, and technical assistance preferred.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and computer skills for clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide national oversight and support for refugee services program activities across USCRI’s network.
• Deliver training and technical assistance to local providers on program implementation and compliance.
• Support monitoring and evaluation of program performance, service quality, and client outcomes.
• Collect, review, and analyze program data to support grant reporting and funder deliverables.
• Draft monitoring reports, track corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain program tools, trackers, and documentation systems across the network.
• Travel domestically as needed and collaborate with partners and affiliates.
