Job summary

Global Refuge in Falls Church, Virginia, seeks a Manager for Field Operations to lead the field operation, overseeing case management, staff supervision, and program development. You will ensure high-quality client services and manage relationships with service providers and funders.

The role includes budgeting oversight, fundraising collaboration, and advocacy for refugees and vulnerable populations. A strong leadership background and nonprofit program experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; master's preferred.
• 5+ years professional experience, including 2+ years in staff management.
• Experience with refugees/immigrants and knowledge of U.S. refugee law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the overall program strategy and expansion of services.
• Oversee the Welcome Center program operations and ensure compliance.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff; provide supervision.
• Oversee volunteer management.
• Monitor and adjust program budgets with finance.
• Provide oversight of field operation programming including case management and employment services.
• Prepare regular funder reports and oversee spending with the Director of Programs.
• Collaborate with Development and Outreach to execute fundraising and community engagement.
• Foster relationships with government, donors, media, and community partners.
• Advocate for refugees, immigrants, and vulnerable populations locally.
• Maintain communication with headquarters management and teams across departments.
