Job summary

Jewish Family Service of San Diego is seeking a Resettlement Case Manager to provide direct case management for refugee clients, maintain accurate records, and coordinate referrals with the Refugee Resettlement team. This on-site position reports to the Resettlement Program Manager and requires travel to meet clients and partners as needed.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely documentation, and excellent communication in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; college coursework encouraged.
• Valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and access to a personal vehicle.
• Experience in social services and with refugee/immigrant populations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to refugee resettlement clients and track progress toward goals.
• Coordinate internal/external referrals to service providers and monitor client progress.
• Assist clients with benefits enrollment and orientation to services.
• Advocate for clients and help them access necessary services.
• Represent clients with providers and explain services available.
• Conduct community outreach and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain case files and ensure QA under program guidelines.
• Travel off-site to meet employers and conduct interviews as needed.
• Perform detailed data entry and complete required reports by deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
