Credence is seeking a Refugee Programs Monitor to oversee federally funded programs, conduct monitoring reviews, collect data, and evaluate performance against standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in monitoring, compliance, quality assurance, or program evaluation.
• Experience conducting monitoring reviews, compliance assessments, audits, inspections, or program evaluations.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to assess program performance.
• Ability to identify findings, risks, trends, and opportunities for program improvement.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Position Summary

Credence is seeking a Refugee Programs Monitor to support program oversight, compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and performance assessments for federally funded programs. This role is responsible for conducting monitoring reviews, collecting and analyzing data, evaluating program performance, identifying compliance concerns, and preparing detailed monitoring reports and recommendations. The successful candidate will work closely with program staff, service providers, and stakeholders to assess operations, measure compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate program performance against established standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monitoring reviews to assess program performance, effectiveness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate program operations and outcomes.
• Review policies, procedures, records, case files, and supporting documentation during monitoring activities.
• Identify findings, risks, trends, and opportunities for program improvement.
• Prepare monitoring reports, summaries, findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct site visits, interviews, and assessments to evaluate program implementation and service delivery.
• Support follow-up activities related to monitoring findings and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to promote quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor progress on corrective actions and assess the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Maintain accurate records, monitoring files, and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance related to monitoring findings and program requirements.
• Support special projects, assessments, and program review activities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Program Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience supporting program monitoring, compliance reviews, quality assurance, program evaluation, human services, grants oversight, or related functions.
• Experience conducting monitoring reviews, compliance assessments, audits, inspections, or program evaluations.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to assess program performance.
• Experience reviewing records, documentation, policies, procedures, and operational practices to assess compliance and effectiveness.
• Ability to identify findings, risks, trends, and opportunities for program improvement.
• Experience preparing monitoring reports, findings, recommendations, and corrective action documentation.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain objectivity, professionalism, and confidentiality while conducting monitoring activities.
