Job summary

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada seeks a Job Developer to assist clients in obtaining employment aligned with Self-Sufficiency Plans, coordinating with ESL instructors and case managers.

Responsibilities include assessing refugees, helping with resumes and applications, arranging transportation, and maintaining records in MRIS, while forming partnerships with local employers and participating in job fairs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business or Social Services with 3 years' job placement experience.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends, as necessary.
• Must be at least 25 years old with Nevada driver's license and insurance.
• Bilingual ability in English and Arabic/Farsi or other refugee languages.

Responsibilities

• Assess refugees for employment and job training opportunities.
• Assist with resumes, translations, transportation, and required documents.
• Case note all activities and maintain records in MRIS.
• Coordinate self-sufficiency plans with clients, managers, and ESL instructors.
• Engage employers, participate in job fairs, and develop resources.
• Provide job search guidance and interview preparation.
• Conduct follow-up reports to ensure job retention and success.
• Transport clients to interviews and accompany them to leads when needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation; perform related duties.
