Bluegrass Community & Technical College is seeking a Refugee Career Laddering Outreach /Intake Specialist to implement outreach, recruitment, and participant screening for the Refugee Career Laddering Program. The role ensures eligibility, assessment, and enrollment under ORR guidelines, while connecting participants to ESL, computer literacy, and career exploration resources.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related fields and 2 years experience working with populations facing economic and resource challenges.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Conduces outreach, recruitment, and engagement activities for eligible refugees with community partners and campus departments.
• Screens participants for program eligibility and completes intake per ORR guidelines.
• Develops preliminaryCareer Plans to support enrollment in suitable programs.
• Provides referrals to social services and supplementary education or training opportunities.
• Maintains open communication among participants, navigator, and case managers.
