Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking a Vocational Training Case Manager to support refugees in Houston. You will educate, enroll, and follow up with students in the Vocational Training Program and help the employment team achieve self-sufficiency for clients.

Responsibilities include conducting employment intakes, data entry into Client Track, maintaining case notes, and coordinating job placements while providing translation and transportation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Bilingual in English and another language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides intake assessment for vocational training applicants and coordinates with service providers.
• Determines suitable employment opportunities and guides clients through interviews and applications; tracks progress at 30/60/90 days.
• Verifies enrollment in Refugee Management Solution and Client Track; maintains accurate files and quarterly reporting data.
• Attends meetings, supports special projects and events, and assists with program administration.
