Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in an employment services or workforce development program.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Ability to give presentations to an audience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of program policies for informed decisions.
• Experience dealing with diverse individuals with cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to handle confidential client information.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data entry, reports, and file maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to maintain an effective employment process.
• Lead and mentor a team of Employment Specialists.
• Provide feedback to improve performance and recognize achievements.
• Foster a positive team environment and professional development.
• Lead special projects to increase program impact and efficiency.
• Provide intake, assessment, and individual employment plans.
• Deliver group and individual job readiness orientations.
• Schedule interviews, assist with applications and onboarding for 90 days post-placement.
• Assist clients and employers with post-placement needs and transportation as needed.
• Track placements, review enrollments and job referrals using the agency’s system.
