Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to monitor, repair, and maintain refrigeration, steam, compressed air, water systems, and related equipment across all utility areas.

The role requires basic math, familiarity with CMMS/SAP, and readiness to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends. Documentation and safety compliance are essential to daily tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete all utilities maintenance.
• Perform all necessary documentation of activities.
• Install equipment on all utility systems.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Keep all work areas clean.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to complete all paperwork CMMS/SAP functions.
• Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management.
