Job summary

Americold is seeking a skilled refrigeration/maintenance technician to join our Indianapolis warehouse team. You will operate and repair refrigeration systems, perform routine maintenance, monitor performance, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure reliability and safety.

On-call shifts may be required, with flexible schedules to support operations. Required: at least 2 years in refrigeration or maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC/R certification or a technical degree if experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED
• HVAC/R certification or technical degree if experience not met
• Successful completion of assigned industrial refrigeration or mechanical-electrical courses
• HAZMAT training and certification

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair refrigeration systems
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues
• Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment
