Job summary

Americold is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to support operations in our Indiana facilities. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep our cold storage warehouses running safely and efficiently.

Requirements include at least 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC/R certification if needed. On-site shifts and equipment testing are part of the role.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience required.
High school diploma or GED required.
HVAC/R certification or technical degree required if experience is not met.
HAZMAT training and certification required.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform repairs and adjustments on refrigeration systems.
Monitor system performance and identify operational issues.
Conduct routine maintenance on warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective actions.
Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instruments.
Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and ensure proper use.
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and uphold housekeeping standards in the work area.
Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
