Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Refrigeration Technician 1 to support maintenance and repair of our warehouse refrigeration systems under general supervision. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and ensure equipment operates within performance standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant refrigeration/maintenance experience or HVAC/R certification. Safety training and basic computer skills are also expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years combined Refrigeration and/or Maintenance experience or HVAC/R certification/technical degree.
• Must complete assigned industrial refrigeration and/or mechanical-electrical courses.
• Must train in HAZMAT and obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills required (email, internet, data entry).

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair refrigeration systems; monitor performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment per OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and advise corrective actions.
• Test and evaluate equipment using meters and tools.
• Maintain safety equipment and accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Able to work flexible shifts and on-call as needed.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 6S standards.
