Job summary

Americold in Pennsylvania is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to perform refrigeration operations, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of industrial mechanical and electrical systems in our warehouse. You will monitor system performance, complete preventive maintenance records, and uphold safety standards; flexible shifts and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience required.
High school diploma or GED required.
HVAC/R certification or technical degree required if experience is not met.
Successful completion of assigned industrial refrigeration or mechanical-electrical courses required.
HAZMAT training and certification required.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform repairs and adjustments on refrigeration systems.
Monitor system performance and identify operational issues.
Conduct routine maintenance on warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective actions.
Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instruments.
Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and ensure proper use.
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and uphold housekeeping standards in the work area.
