Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated in Justice, IL seeks a skilled refrigeration technician/d diesel mechanic to service Carrier, Thermo King, Volvo Trucks, and Isuzu systems. You will perform repairs in the shop and at customer sites, conduct preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document work orders with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience as refrigeration tech or diesel mechanic preferred.
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT Certification.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Company-paid Carrier Module Training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations.
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on needed repairs.
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete required documentation for work order files and customer billing.
• Other duties as assigned.
