Responsibilities:

1. Perform unsupervised repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, using appropriate troubleshooting and safety techniques.
2. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
3. Maintain records of work performed and manage refrigerant inventories.
4. Follow EPA and other safety regulations, including leak repairs and mandated rechecks.
5. Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of related experience.
2. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems independently.
3. Technical training through apprenticeship, trade school, or equivalent experience.
4. EPA Universal Certification; Refrigeration License preferred.
5. Proficient with building management systems, PLC controls, and related equipment.
6. Knowledge of welding, plumbing, and applicable codes.
