Job summary

Kolpak is seeking a Tech Service Specialist to provide technical support on refrigeration equipment in Parsons, TN. You will handle inquiries from customers, Sales, and Service Techs, and review warranty claims in the CPS system.

This on-site role reports to the Director of Service and requires coordinating with management, customer service, sales and engineering to resolve escalated issues and dispatch factory‑authorized contractors for warranty repairs, while maintaining accurate service

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical degree preferred in commercial refrigeration or related field with 3+ years in equipment repair or maintenance; in lieu of degree, 6+ years experience.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• In-depth knowledge of product line and refrigeration cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and service support via phone, email or chat for Service Techs, Service agencies, Sales and customers.
• Identify sources of inquiries from Service Techs, Service agencies, Sales and customers.
• Respond to routine service inquiries and maintain accurate service records.
• Under supervision, educate yourself on product lines and service tools.
• Complete installation quote requests from Sales.
• Know the basic refrigeration cycle and basic electrical concepts.
• Dispatch factory‑authorized service companies for warranty repairs and follow up.
