Job summary

Welbilt Inc. is seeking a Tech Service Specialist based on-site in Parsons, Tennessee. The role provides technical support for customers, sales, and service technicians, and reviews warranty claims submitted to CPS.

You will collaborate with engineering and service teams to resolve issues and dispatch authorized service for warranty repairs. The position involves on-site work, occasional weekend shifts, and potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical degree preferred in commercial refrigeration or related field, with 3+ years of equipment repair/maintenance experience; or 6+ years without degree.
• Proficient in MS Office—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, with customers and service teams.
• Willing to work in an office environment with extensive phone usage.
• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Service Techs, agencies, Sales and customers via phone, email, or chat.
• Identify sources of inquiries and respond to routine service requests.
• Maintain accurate computerized service records for the product brand.
• Dispatch Factory Authorized Service companies for warranty repairs and track status.
• Collaborate with management, customer service, sales and engineering to resolve escalated issues.
