Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Product Application Specialist to configure refrigeration systems that meet customer needs and manage multiple projects concurrently. The role requires independent work, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.

You will collaborate with Customers, Sales Representatives, Dealers, and Engineers of Record to deliver tailored solutions and ensure orders are processed accurately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HVAC/R diploma.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC/R field or 2 years HVAC/R experience with diploma.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Liaises with third-party engineers, customers, vendors and outside sales to determine requirements and specifications.
• Generates customer legend sheets / specifications.
• Calculates refrigeration load requirements and parameters.
• Constructs full end-to-end proposals for refrigeration systems including racks, gas coolers, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
• Acts as consultant to customer on store installations or full-store remodels.
• Uses proprietary product application software to turn around proposals within service levels.
