Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, program, and document controls for refrigeration systems and alarms. You will support deployment, develop tools for system integration, and translate customer requirements into robust control strategies.

Responsibilities include creating troubleshooting trees, sequencing tests to identify root causes, and collaborating with engineers to bring products to the field.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of programming, troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs and tools to meet product and customer needs (Copeland E2/3, Danfoss SM800A, Carel PR300, CPCO).
• Engage with Engineers on deployment strategy to get products into the field.
• Assist in development of tools and features for customer system integration.
• Design troubleshooting trees for refrigeration systems and controls based on engineering applications.
• Design sequencing and test methods to isolate root causes of controls alarms.
• Independently develop controls strategies for refrigeration systems.
• Improve testing sequences using field service and warranty data.
• Define and apply customer requirements for controls strategy and integration.
• Recommend alarm thresholds to improve alarm accuracy for customers.
