Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Refrigeration Start-up Technician in Johns Creek, GA to start and commission supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, and EMS systems. You will work across diverse projects, ensuring energy optimization and reliable system performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, strong EMS knowledge, and EPA I & II certification. A valid driver's license and solid communication skills are required for field coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration; CO2 a plus
• EPA I & II Certification required
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Experience reading blueprints for refrigeration/electrical/plumbing systems

Responsibilities

• Start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems from various manufacturers.
• Lead small projects such as single case and condenser changeouts.
• Assist with energy optimization projects and retro-commissioning.
• Coordinate with local branch managers and train junior technicians.
