Job summary

CoolSys in Smyrna, GA is seeking Refrigeration Start-up Technicians. You will start up supermarket refrigeration and HVAC equipment, wire and program EMS systems, and troubleshoot.

You’ll lead small projects and support energy optimization initiatives in a dynamic, multi-site environment. The role requires 3+ years in supermarket EMS and 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, with EPA I/II and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/technical coursework completed.
• 3+ years in supermarket EMS systems.
• EPA I and II Certification is required.
• 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, parallel racks preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems.
• Start-up of parallel refrigeration systems and individual units.
• Lead small projects like single case and condenser changes.
• Support Energy Optimization projects and retro-commissioning.
