Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Product Application Specialist to support our refrigerated systems business. You will work with customers, sales reps and engineers to design, quote, and implement end-to-end refrigeration solutions for store installations and remodels.

The role requires a technical engineering background, HVAC/R knowledge, and strong communication to ensure proposals meet customer needs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Diploma from accredited HVAC/R program with at least 2 years HVAC/R experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with engineers, customers, vendors and sales to determine requirements and specifications.
• Generate customer legend sheets / specifications.
• Calculate refrigeration load requirements and parameters.
• Construct end-to-end proposals for refrigeration systems including racks, gas coolers, compressors and condensers.
• Act as consultant on store installations or full-store remodels to shape demand.
• Utilize product application software to turnaround proposals within service levels.
• Ensure downstream teams have all information for orders.
• Enter customer orders timely.
